Architecture

Below is some historical information on the architecture of The Madkin, which was built 117 years ago in 1905 and designed by architect William P. White. The architectural report was put together in 1997 by former Madkin resident and then architectural student, Misa Perron-Burdick. After that, are the two pages on The Madkin from the Madison Street Corridor Bus Rapid Transit Cultural Resources Assessment. Both of these documents served as the starting point for historical research into the building’s history.
